D-406-0003 TE Connectivity Raychem butt splice Duraseal nylon insulated crimp connectors are easy to use in factory or repair applications and provide superior protection against corrosion, wear and vibration. The products insulate and protect electrical connections against mechanical load, cable pulling and wear, while remaining resistant to water, salt and other contaminants.
Raychem Duraseal connectors provide a rugged, environmentally friendly wire connection. Their crimp cylinder or terminal, encased in robust, heat-shrinkable nylon sleeving, coated with special hot-melt adhesive protects against damage and cuts.

Duraseal connectors are suitable for wire sizes 22 to 10. They are color-coded for easy identification of size sizes, yet transparent for inspection after crimping.

TE Connectivity offers many products for wire-to-wire splicing: SolderSleeve solder joints; SolderGrip connections and DuraSeal and MiniSeal crimp connections. Like all TE interconnect products the wire-to-wire splicing products are robust and reliable, yet easy to install. Designed for applications with temperatures up to 200°C [302°F].

DuraSeal products profile themselves by offering protection to joints in the most severe environmental conditions. The crimp joint encased in a rugged, heat-shrinkable nylon hose lined with a special hot melt adhesive protects against damage from abrasion and cuts.
