Thomas & Betts Ty-Rap polyamide 12 – UV-resistant
Thomas & Betts Ty-rap polyamide 12 – UV resistant are particularly suitable for applications where cable ties are exposed to UV radiation. Polyamide 12 provides a longer lifespan (12-15 years) compared to the usual polyamide 6.6 (7-9 years). UV-resistant polyamide 12 remains flexible in cold and dry environments, ages better, and has better chemical resistance than Polyamide 6.6. The unique locking mechanism combines low insertion force and high tensile strength. The rounded head with low profile results in fewer projections. For optimal ease of use, the ends are equipped with a two-sided finger grip that helps the user to grip and tighten the cable ties.
