Thomas & Betts Ty-rap fluoropolymer cable tie – ECTFE offer a tensile strength of up to 220 N. The fluoropolymer (Halar) cable ties offer extreme resistance to UV degradation and excellent performance of flame retardancy and low smoke density when burned. The Halar cable ties are recommended for applications where smoke generation is a concern, such as plenum areas. The unique locking mechanism combines low insertion force and high tensile strength. The rounded head with low profile provides less protrusion. For optimal ease of use, the ends are equipped with a two-sided finger grip that helps the user grip and tighten the cable ties.
