Thomas & Betts Ty-Rap heat reactive cable ties
Thomas & Betts Ty-rap heat-reactive cable ties change colour from green to translucent when in contact with a high-temperature surface, with a reaction temperature of ± 49°C. The effectiveness of the heat-reactive polypropylene material lasts at least 24 months under normal operating conditions. Ty-Rap heat-reactive cable ties are ideal for use where visual indication of a hot surface helps to signal an unsafe working environment or defective equipment. The unique locking mechanism combines low insertion force and high tensile strength. The rounded head with low profile reduces protrusions. For optimal ease of use, the ends are equipped with a two-sided finger grip that helps the user grip and tighten the cable ties.
