Heat Shrink End Caps 102L from TE Connectivity Raychem
Raychem 102L heat shrink end caps from TE Connectivity are made from durable, halogen-free polyolefin and feature an internal adhesive layer. These end caps offer quick, watertight, and reliable sealing of various types of power and telecom cables, even in harsh environments.
Applications and Benefits
When combined with other components in a kit, the 102L end caps form an active cable termination solution suitable for insulating live cables up to 1000V. The caps can be installed directly onto cables, as well as onto plastic, metal, or wooden pipes or posts.
The 102L/102K end caps are made from crosslinked polyolefin with a carbon black content of ≥2.5% for enhanced UV resistance. They are fully REACH and RoHS compliant and suitable for industrial, outdoor, and underground applications.
During the shrink process, the optional polyamide adhesive coating melts and flows to create a seamless, moisture-resistant seal that is also weather- and fungus-resistant.
