RW-175 and RW-175-E Heat Shrink Tubing
The Raychem RW-175 heat shrink tubing is made from high-quality polyolefin material, known for its excellent physical properties and electrical insulation capabilities. It is designed to provide protection and insulation for wires, cables, and connections in various environments, ranging from household wiring to industrial applications.
The heat shrink tubing has a 2:1 shrink ratio, meaning the diameter of the tubing can shrink to half of its original size when heated. This allows the tubing to be easily placed over the components to be protected, and then shrunk with heat, creating a tight and secure fit.
One of the key features of the RW-175 heat shrink tubing is its excellent resistance to chemicals, oils, and solvents. This ensures the tubing remains durable even in demanding environments where exposure to aggressive substances may occur. Additionally, the tubing has a high temperature resistance, meaning it can withstand extreme heat and be used in environments with high temperatures.
The TE Connectivity RW-175 heat shrink tubing is available in two versions: RW-175 or RW-175-E. The RW-175 is manufactured according to the SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/8 specification, while the RW-175-E is produced according to VG 95343 Pt 5 Type F.
