Reflectsleeve Federal Mogul Protective Sleeve is a braided sheath made of fiberglass with a strong reflective aluminum outer layer, used to protect components in high-temperature areas, such as electrical cables and pneumatic or hydraulic hoses.

Reflectsleeve features an outer layer of spirally-wrapped aluminum foil that strongly reflects radiant heat while also providing a barrier against moisture and other harmful elements. The inner layer, made of high-volume fiberglass, contains natural air pockets that significantly enhance insulation efficiency. It ensures thermal protection against heat generated by convection and/or radiation. The flexibility and tubular construction of Reflectsleeve allow for easy installation and accommodate the design of complex components.
