Roundit EMI DW Braided Protective Sleeve by Federal Mogul
Roundit EMI DW is a protective sleeve used to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) in electrical and electronic systems. EMI can cause interference in signal transmission, leading to malfunctions, noise, and failures.
The Roundit EMI DW is made from a braided construction of specially designed UL 94 V0-rated PPS monofilaments, copper wire, and impregnated with a special thermoplastic polymer layer. The braided design allows the sleeve to be easily pulled over cables and wires, providing effective EMI protection. It is designed to meet military standards (ASTMB-355) for electromagnetic compatibility and is widely used in railway, offshore & marine, aerospace, and defense applications, as well as other industrial settings where EMI protection is crucial.
The Roundit EMI DW offers a high level of flexibility and is resistant to high temperatures and chemicals, making it suitable for use in demanding environments. Additionally, the sleeve provides protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD) and is UV-resistant.
