Raychem Instalite lightweight protective sleeve
TE Connectivity’s INSTALITE offers up to 50% weight savings compared to traditional copper braids. This lightweight braid provides excellent electrical shielding performance across a wide frequency range. Made from a high-quality tinned copper alloy, the RoHS-compliant pull-on braid comes on a spool for easy installation on various substrates.
INSTALITE braid is more flexible than standard industrial metal braids, making it very user-friendly. Since INSTALITE braid uses established metal braiding techniques, transitioning to INSTALITE braid is straightforward. The product can be terminated using standard tools and installation procedures for existing backshells and banding, allowing for easy integration into current applications.
