For versatility, all 75 die sets are interchangeable, including those for open-barrel contacts and terminals. PROCRIMP 1.5 & 2.5MM PIN/SEAL

TE Connectivity has developed a crimping tool specifically for use with the round and DIN Connector series. This tool is primarily designed for installation, repair, maintenance work, or prototyping in industrial, commercial, or institutional applications.

The basic tool (354940-1) does not include a die (58606-2); this needs to be ordered separately or as a combination (58606-1).

Extraction tool

For extracting contact pins from the housing, TE Connectivity has developed the Extraction Tool (1-1579007-8). Using this tool allows you to easily remove attached contact pins without damaging the cable, contact pin, or housing.

In today’s competitive wire and harness industry, where price and quality are more critical than ever, customers are raising the bar for crimping standards in terms of quality and repeatability. TE has responded to these challenges by enhancing the flexibility of the OCEAN 2.0 applicator. It now allows for quick interchangeability between various terminator configurations, enabling customers to adapt swiftly to any desired setup. All necessary components for reconfiguring the applicator are included and can be securely stored for easy access.

The latest OCEAN applicator comes equipped with accessories for switching between 30mm and 40mm stroke limiters, front and rear feed cam configurations, as well as options for cutting and non-cutting. The wire stop / stripper can be easily adjusted for different applications, and a mechanical counter is provided for cycle counting. Overall, the OCEAN 2.0 applicator series provides everything needed to accommodate a wide range of termination methods required for specific applications.
