Applications of Rochester Wire and Cable
TE Connectivity's Rochester cables offer electro-optical products with proven quality and reliability for applications such as BOP power cables, seismic instrumentation, and custom cables for harsh environments down to depths of 6,000 meters. TE Rochester wireline products are used worldwide in cutting, perforating, and wellbore applications. The hot, corrosive environment in the borehole is addressed by our expertise in high-temperature insulation.
Defense
Marine organizations around the world rely on our electro-optical cables, surveillance cables, subsea towed array cables, helicopter dip sonar cables, and electro-optical cables for ROV recovery and salvage.
Mining and Miscellaneous
Single-core, coaxial, optical, and multi-core TV inspection cables are designed to offer a longer lifespan in harsh environments of TV inspection, fishing, and mining. Galvanized steel armor, aramid yarns, and durable thermoplastic materials provide the protection needed for pipe and sewer inspection applications. Net lead coaxial cables for fishing are resistant to significant loads. TE mining power and lighting cables are approved by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA).
