Thanks to the highly flexible properties of SHF-260 wire, the cable can be bent and routed in extremely tight spaces without the insulation creasing or cracking. This results in the ability to achieve shorter routing distances, reduce stress on the contact, and lower mating and unmating forces normally associated with large-shell circular connectors such as MIL-C-5015 and MIL-C-83723 connectors.
