BMS13-52-2: Superior Protection for Extreme Conditions
BMS13-52-2 is a braided protective sleeving made of Halar® (E-CTFE) fluoropolymer, designed for applications up to +150ºC. It is inherently flame-retardant, a UL-recognized component that meets VW-1 requirements and does not melt or drip when exposed directly to flames. BMS13-52-2 is a specialized, highly reliable solution for military and aerospace applications. It offers good mechanical properties, performs well in both high and low temperature environments, and has excellent chemical resistance.
Applications and Benefits
BMS13-52-2 protective oversleeving has many applications in the aerospace, marine, electronics, military, nuclear, and general manufacturing industries. BMS13-52-2 products are robust, lightweight protective sleeving used to protect cable assemblies, hoses, and wire harnesses against abrasion, cutting, and wear. The open braided construction of BMS13-52-2 products allows each size to expand to fit various application shapes and sizes. This open weave construction also makes them highly flexible and resistant to retaining water, heat, and moisture.
